We bought this old twin bed at a local thrift store.  It was filthy dirty and looked like it hadn't been loved in a long time!  So, we brought it home, cleaned it, stripped it, and repurposed it.  It now looks like this....

These are a few of the things we've been working on for our booth opening THIS Saturday!  In the meantime, we're working on more items I'll share later AND I'm still trying to figure out the blog network and buttons.  It all seems like a lot of fun!

BOOTH OPENING!

Our booth is opening THIS WEEKEND  at the Pickle Patch Market in Sylacauga!  I'm very excited about this new adventure and hope to post some pictures of our booth a little later this week.  In the meantime, go to http://www.picklepatchmarket.com/ and check out the progress...and as always, pray & persevere!

Blogger Button???

I have been trying to figure out how to attach a button.  As you can see, I have attached TWO images and no link!  Obviously the first image was TOO BIG!  I think I need a little help on this one.  I'd really like to figure this part out, so I can network with others with the same interest.  Maybe one day I'll be "up and blogging".  In the meantime, I'm prayin & perseverin, as usual:)

Today's Junking Haul

Today I went "junkin" and found several items that need a little love and maybe a little repurposing!  Hopefully, I will be able to attach a picture to today's post so you can see what all I found!  Look out...it worked!!!  As you can see, I found an old coffee table, a couple of light fixtures, a king-size headboard, and a twin bed.  Hopefully someday soon the beds will be repurposed into a couple of benches.  Later this week, I will try to post pictures of the adorable repurposing project Hubby transformed from an old, nasty, long-forgotten twin bed.

First trial run!

This is my first trial run to post on my new blogspot!  If this works, maybe I'll attempt to attach some photos of items in my new consignment booth.  So...say a prayer & persevere!
